I don't know if this is right or not, but an 8V71....was (we called) a 318...I'm thinking that was 318 hp...this was in a truck....a semi...however it wasn't naturally aspirated, I don't think the 2 cycles were ever naturally aspirated, you had to have the blower. I'm wondering if you could do a proportionate thing, this would give you some idea of what the horse power was on a 2 cylinder. Hope this is of some help.
