I believe the origin of that hood emblem was on
the 'Work Bull' industrial models, 303,404. By
late '53, any castings of M-H tractors seemed to
carry M-H-F, the S/N plates listed 'Massey-Harris
Division' of Massey Harris Ferguson. Combines
carried the badge decals of M-H, until 1963.
The lone surprise would be noticing on a casting
of a MF 180(vintage mid-late 60's), the M-H-F
letters above the PTO. Wonder if all 180's had
this stamp? The company had officially changed
it's name March, 1958.
