Brad and Sean: I am really glad to see some young guys stepping up to the plate, willing to go to bat. My bro in law is a farmer(small-75 acres) working a farm he bought from his father. His dad made a living on it, but worked another job too. He also has to work in industry to make a living. My bro in law will be the last to farm that land, and then who knows what. His 2 sons aged 21 and 19 have no interest in farming at all. And there is no one expressing any interest in it. He recently got out of sheep and into black angus cattle, saying they'll be his retirement income. But I don't think he'll grow crops. It's a shame that all these farms will go up for sale, and no one around here wants to carry it on. Sean, do live in Ontario? Send me an Email if you like.
