I first saw the new size tires on 350 and 450 Farmalls that came out in 1957, there may have been a few 400's that came with 15.5-38's instead of 13-38s. When I saw the first 15.5-38's, they looked lousy on 450's because they are somewhat lower in height than the 13-38's were and looked too small for that tractor. I still prefer the taller tires on 400's and 450's and 560's look a lot better with 16.9-38's.(makes a lot more tractor out of them too). Small diameter tires slipping over 10% waste fuel.
