Seeing as how they had some of your money already, I would have taken them up on their offer to give you another block. By doing that, I think they demonstrated good faith. They could have just said oh well and let you either demand your money back or done nothing at all. I doubt that you have much chance of getting anything else back now, as even in court they could claim that you took delivery fully aware of the defect and that they offered you a replacement part - all of which would be true. It's one of those deals where you're darned if you do and darned if you don't. Perhaps you can contact them and see if they would be willing to remove the other block and ship it to you.
