Speaking about U-Haul, I've rented from them twice and gotten it stuffed to me both times. My son recently tried to rent a 26' truck from them. I told him of my problems, so he called to check on his reservation 3 times the week he was to pick it up on Saturday. Can anybody guess what happened when he went to pick it up on Saturday morning? They told him the same thing they told me - "call around"!!! Late in the day they came up with one - 200,000+ miles on it, the rear door was hanging off and the bendix spring was on it's last legs - it started about once out of every 10 tries. Not a secure feeling when you have all your worldly possessions inside. I don't know hw they continue to exist with that kind of service.
