You are correct. Parts are high and I don't like paying an arm and leg for parts either. But you have to stop and consider the suppliers. They have to buy 10's or 100's of thousands of dollars worth of parts and set them on the shelves waiting for someone to buy them. Some will set there for months or even years. That cost them a lot of money. To recoup that money, they must charge considerably more than what the part actually cost to make. And for the convenience, we must pay that. That is the price we pay for them having parts available when we need them.
