I replaced a window in a JD 690 escavator for a guy.. The glass for a 15 by 30 window was around $50 installed in the frame I brought in, and a new gasket was around $25.A larger window was still under $100 installed. Chances are you will need new gaskets for the windows. A good glass place should stock a universal gasket. Old gaskets get hard and make it very difficult to install the window. Make certain the flange the window mounts on is rust free and straight, with no protrusions like welds or anything to cause a stress point.Glass won't bend very well. Ask your local tractor dealer who they use. Check around on prices, the guy I used was almost half the quoted price of the big name shop in the city. If you think you are going to have a breakage problem, use Lexan..Otherwise the scratches and cloudiness will make you sorry you did a few years down the road. Plastics do not do well in abrasive environments, and wiping a dry lexan window with your sleeve is guaranteed to scratch it. One of the windows I changed was a lexan one..It was white and totally opaque. Might as well have used sheet metal.
