Do not use grease on the o rings for the sleeves. Grease makes them swell up. You can use dish liquid or a comerical lubericant especially designed for the rubber o rings. You can get an engine assembly lube form your auto parts store that is specially formulated for bearings or you can use half engine oil and half STP if you can't get the assembly lube. Some sealant may be necessary in some places if you have any doubt of the gskets sealing. You should not have to put sealant on the gaskets. Don't put silicone RTV on rubber gaskets as this makes the gaskets sqeeze out of place when tightened down. I sometimes use gasket adhesive to hold a gasket in place where you have difficulty in getting a gasket to stay in plce. I just use the oil I am going to use in the engine when assembling an engine and have not had any trouble. I use Rotella 15W40 in every thing and have had no major engine problems. There are alot of other good oils out there this is just what I use. If you don't have a book on the specs. You can get them from your bearing supplier. Hope this helps you.
