The two stage pump as previously mentioned is going to suddenly increase or decrease speed by a factor of four as the load varies. Rather than sooner or later damaging equipment with unexpected speed changes or more importantly injuring people, don't be so cheap and purchase a proper single stage pump. It's only a few dollars more. The good people here posting their advice here are saving people time, money, aggravation, injury or death are doing it for free. The least you can do is not be "smart" with your answers. By the time an old tractor is cobbled up with extra non factory options the cost in time and money if often greater than purchasing a tractor factory equipped with the required options. Plus there is factory/salvage yard parts, factory engineering and retained value. The money spent custom tinkering is not retained.
