Most of the 2 stage pumps I have seen have a second stage capicity of about 25-30 percent or so of the primary stage. If you use one of the 2 stage pumps like in Northern hydraulics catalog you will have to use some type of speed step up arrangement to drive the pump off of a pto. As was previously stated in this thread. Ben in KY
