Case 450C

I have just had my engine overhauled on my Case 450C Its a cummings 4 cylinder diesel and the year is 1978. It runs smoothly but the manual does not give the no. of degrees the fuel pump has to be offset at higher elevations. We are at 3000 ft above sea level here and everyone I ask seems to have a different suggestion from 0 to 8 degrees.
