Go to your local parts store and get a little bag of aluminum keys for B.S. Don't know if you can buy them seperately, so you may have to buy more than one. What could have happened is that the key that was in there was half cut into or a flaw crack in it and it just cut the rest of the way off. They usually sheer if something solid is hit with the blades.
