A nice John Deere 1020 or 1520. DO NOT GET A 1010 or 2010.
Get a tractor with 3 point hitch. Independent or Continuous running PTO. Most people call it live PTO.
Wide front end. A loader is also nice to have.

Stay away from the Ford 8N 9N NAA. Lots of people like them, i call them junk.

Older International tractors have the fast hitch. It's nice, BUT you can't buy new implements for it.
