Ford had problems with the early series, many
updates. These were the '61-'62 models, with red
painted drive train. They actually replaced your
6000, in '63, if prior to a certain S/N. Must
have cost them, to eat all those early 6000's.
Dealers installed updates, the used tractors were
then sold. Kind of like the Firestone tire mess
Ford bought up, to close the chapter. Now they
are strapped for profits, when car/light truck
sales are off.
