John,I have a 2000 K2500,auto that I have crossed the scales weighing in excess of 30,000#,s several times hauling cattle.It is not as noisey as Dodge or Ford but won't come close to pulling with them.Mine has 61,000 mi. on it and have not had any problems yet.A friend has one with over 500,000 mi.on it.Chevy sent me a letter that they extended the warranty to 120,000 mi. on Inj.pump.Duramax are much better but they are PROUD($$$$)of them.Jim B
