Local radiator shop had a real nice product called Red Kote. Pour it into a cleaned tank (and then want it real clean) and roll the tank around to coat the inside. Then turn the tank upside down and let the excess run back into the can. You can reuse it if you seal the can good. Did it to my Farmall M two years ago and the stuff is holding up great. Its like unbreakable red glass now.
