Hand vs foot controls is a matter of personal preference, and which one you get used to. Had a Case 1530, next a Gehl 4625SX, both with hand controls. Rented some with foot controls, but for stability, I prefer to keep my feet flat on the floor, instead of needing them to run the bucket. My grapple fork needs foot control, but that beats using the feet at all times.
