Sounds like you've got a late 1952 Avery model V. That year the serial numbers went from 6V422 to 7V271 so your was one of about 700 that year. They started making them in 1946 although other Averys were made before that. I have an Avery history page (mostly for the Avery A and Cletrac GG from which it came) here that I could email you if you get back to me on the above blue email link. The company's history is outlined as well. Yours has a Hercules flathead engine of 133 cubic inches.
