I checked out another book and that one said the model E 20/35 had a regular "I" head 4-cylinder engine which is a normal overhead valve configuration I believe. The tractor encyclopedia book must have had a typo error with the V-head mentioned. Looking at pictures of the tractor, well it looks just like most other overhead valve engines so I guess that's it then.
