David, Having a 53 with loader, I would suggest you go with the front mounted pump. Ya didn't say but, if you have any more than power up, and a trip bucket, it will require some creative plumbing to get the ford hyd to run it. Don't get me wrong, it can be done (actually I did it) but its hard on the pump, and slow to respond 3-4 gal per min factory pump vs. after market of 15-20 gal per min. FYI the mounting for the 2n will be a little shorter than what the 53 will be (wheel base). Does it have an adjustable mount? Errin
