Most vehicles were coming out with R-134 in 92-93. So even if you have an earlier vehicle, and many have been converted, look at the recharging ports on the A.C. lines, the R-12 ports are small the size of a tire valve stem with external threads, R-134 ports are much larger, have a quick disconnect lug on the outside and have threads internal only. Look around the engine compartment for the tag. John in Ne.
