from your figures I got 1620 lbs/coal/hr
25,000,000. btu's per ton in coal
Btu's hr/hp=2545 (2545 btu = 1 hp/hr
so, 2000 x 2545= 5,090,000
1620 x 12,500 btu's per pound of coal=20,250,000 5090000

20250000 =0.251358 x 100 =25.1358 or 25.1% therm eff.
