Since when did recycling become an function of pollution? Up here in NY recycling is very important and there are statutes encouraging it, and in fact, the NYS solid waste management act of 1988 et seq, as amended, asserts that other statutes and regulations which interfere and contradict the above referenced statute are to be considered violations of the same.

Old oil, used as paint, is a very excellent wood preservative.
