I HAVE BEEN SLOWLY FIXING UP A IH 424 ,AND ALL IS GOING GREAT, TRACTOR RUNS GREAT BUT I NOW HAVE ONE LAST PROBLEM IVE GOT MYSELF INTO IT INVOLVES THE HYDRAULICS I ADDED A BUSH HOG LOADER AND WAS SOLD A NEW VALVE WITH NO PAPER WORK.I INSTALLED ALL AND IT WORKS OK BUT WHEN NOT USING THE LOADER THE VALES/PUMP IS MAKING NOISE ,NOW COMES MY PROBLEM I THINK THE 424 IS A OPEN SYSTEM SO I LOOKED AT OUTPUT OF THE VALVE INTO RES. AND THERE WAS NO FLOW WHEN NOT USING THE LOADER .BAD SIGN RIGHT? SO THEN I CONNECTED THE PRESSURE RELIEF TO THE OTHER PORT ON THE VALVE THAT WAS CAPPED OFF THEN I HAD FLOW BUT I COULD NOT CAP THE OLD PORT THAT I HAD BEEN USING OR LOADER WOULD STOP.BUT!IF I DRAIN BOTH PORTS INTO THE RES WITH A FUNNEL ALL WORKS GRAET BUT THIS WOULD BE KIND OF A PLUMBING NIGHTMARE DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE .THANKS GUYS
