That's what I get for speculating... ;) I'm thinking alge is a plant-like thing, and it should need some sunlight to grow? Water too, & feeds off the fuel. Never understood alge growth in a dark tank..... Hey, just for fun, you all be careful if you ever put an _electric_ pump on these fuel tanks. Diesel isn't so bad, but you really need to watch grounding and all that, a plastic tank would be an issue you need to handle differently, esp for gasoline. I know that is way outside the original message, but just wanted to mention it. --->Paul
