I've heard of the new 6.0 liter diesel in Fords, but I don't know much about them. I don't have much use for V-8 diesels in particular, and Powerstrokes in particular. I can't say that I've been real impressed with the few Duramax trucks I've been around, either. Give me a good old Cummins in a Dodge anyday. You can't beat an inline 6 for low-end torque, reliability and longevity, no matter how many valves you install in an aluminum-head V-8 diesel and call it heavy-duty engine.
