Get ahold of every local garage you can. Somebody will have an old PTO winch off a wrecker or duece and a half. 2 thoughts- if you really want to use this for dragging logs, then build an arch and mount the winch on it. An arch is basically a two wheeled cart with a boom, (arch), that would hitch to the drawbar. It takes the stress off the 3 point and the winch won't go flying off into the woods that way. #2- if you don't want to do that, then make your winch set up so that the winch can sit on the ground if you want it to. Build some sort of a blade into the rear bottem of the winch assy. This allows you to put the winch on the ground and the blade to dig in when you really get yarnin' on something. A 3 point was NEVER designed to do thid kind of work, so be careful.
