My biggest tractor is 60 HP, so I don't have any experience on bigger ones. I just hook up the PTO first because it is harder to get to after all the links are hooked up, could do it after with same results. I know this is not what the how to guides say to do it, but if you look at the other responses they talk about two people, pry bars, moving the tractor, etc. I tried those before I figured out this method. I used to kick the balls onto the pins after I got them started - OUCH !!! I guess everyone has their favorite method, just trying to show the way I think is safest and easiest.
