I had an MT that I built a 3-pt. on, so I could use a 5' bush-hog with it. Had to make the lift arms as short as possible, and still had to put weight on the front of the tractor to keep the front end down. Attached the lift links as far back as possible on the lower lift arms, getting barely enough lift travel to get the hog off the ground enough to make it usable, and the lift barely would do the job. Sometimes when the hydraulics got hot, it wouldn't quite pick the hog off the ground. I agree with the others, 1000 lb. is way to much for the MT to handle.
