There is a nice tool for wrasling around the impliments you're trying to hook up. It's a very strong bar, about 3' long, with a swivel foot on the bottom.

You run it through the eye of the lift arm and onto the impliment pin. You then pry the tractor and impliment into position, and slip the arm onto the pin.
