Simplicity 2412 ?,,,Hydrostat problems?

I talked to a guy that says he has a Simplicity 2412,he wants hauled away.Does anybody know what year it could be or size motor,or if it has aheavy frame or cast I beam front suspension.He also says the hydro trans won,t move.Are the transmissioins rebuildable.Are parts avaliable ?Is this tractor worth rebuilding?Would it be suited to garden work or be fitted w/ snow removal acc.?
