Stay away from those dipstick heaters, they can char the oil & don't offer much heat. Bad deal! The magnetic ones seem limited to 200 watts, which really isn't enough to do the job on a diesel. You would need it on from the time you shut off the engine until you fire up again, to maintain any heat. I got one, and was not impressed, altho it has it's points at times. Frost plug, tank, or inline heaters all do a good job. If you can branch off a heater line the tank is easy to install, all 3 are about the same. I'm in Minnesota... --->Paul

My first recollection of this tractor was when dad allowed my brother and myself to ride on the tractor with him driving.
