49-cub

I have a 49 cub I converted it to 12 volts, that works but the wiring was all messed up when I got it, I need a diagram for the light switch. also, there is a small strip under the light switch that glows red I was told this was for the gen. Do I need this? it was easier to start on 6 volts. Any help will be a big help. Thanks, Mike
