I think that the ford 2000 is an excellent tractor. I think that the early ones don't have live PTO but you can bushhog without one. They are light enough to be moved easily on a trailer and have enough power to get lots of chores down. They are also easy to work on and there are plenty of them around so they are easy to get parts for.
