I used to have a little grass, could mow the yard in 45 min or less. Now the trees are growing in more and some seedlings are comming up out on the edges, shade is comming back, grass grows less in shade and the yard is cooler in the summer. As the seedlings grow and close in the yard somemore I will have less than the 1/2 hr. of mowing I now do maybe 4 times a year. Have to mow one more time so the grass is short and the leaves don't stick when the wind comes-blows them away better with short grass. I live in R.I. if you are wondering what climate.
