Walnut lumber, especially black walnut is extremely valuable, and becoming increasingly rare. It is used for the most beautiful furniture, (often as a veneer,) and for gunstocks. It takes a long time to grow. There hasn't been much planted over the years. Whatever you do, enter this market cautiously. Get several bids, and don't let yourself get "taken"!
