Hi Bob,

Take a 6v or 12v battery with a carbon clad rod( any welding supply house) and heat the allen screw to a dull red. Hook the negitive lead close to the hole and the postive lead to the carbon rod, DO NOT ground thru a bearing! This will soften the set screw so it can be drilled. It only softens 1/16" at a time so it may take several trys.
