This whole state is considered as marginal pasture land. Also erosion prone (flash floods). They'll take just about everything around here into CRP. Don't know if its the local people runnin' it or what. We're in a five year drouht so they'll take anything.

I think these government programs met well but don't work the way it's suppose too. I got hired out to bushhog a 10 acre pasture close to town that was in crp. County said it had to be cut because of the fire hazzard.

Kind of like taxing tobacco to make people smoke less then paying people like Al Gore tabacco subsities (and he was getting tabacco subsities all the time he was complaining about tabacco killing his sister).
