Shortly after, N-H offered the Super Hayliner 78
in SP version. These had capacity, but the
concept seemed all wrong:since there were no cabs
on vintage '58 equipment, the operator ate dust
for hours. Seemed easier to load the bales direct
from the baler to a wagon, back then. Hills and
wagons were more conflict. Buying a 50 or 60 HP
tractor was more practical, since you escaped
most dust and could use the the tractor 12 months,
instead of three. Lots of novel ideas.
