When you decide to purchase the tractor you need make sure the machine is big enough to handle your future growth. 40-50hp. Diesel should be ample size. It may cost you a little more in the beginning but I think after you grow you will appreciate your foresight. A 30 acre hobby farm is a pretty good size hobby. You may be surprised at the size you can purchase once you go beyond that magic "hobby" HP size.
