I know money is always an issue, but my advice would be to save a little longer and get a good solid, DEPENDABLE tractor. An AC D-17 would be great. Maybe an Oliver 770 or 880. Either of those will be from $3,000 to $4,500 for a good one. An AC WD45 would be a good second choice and a decent one should fit your budget. You will likely need to add a 3-point hitch if it doesn't already have one. A fully hydraulic bucket loader would be handy too. Good luck.
