I don't think all 44 rims are identical so even from 44 to 44 you might find a difference. I know the rear rims on my neighbour's 44 Special are different than on his regular 44. I guess any rim of the correct size could be made to fit if you were skilled with a welding rig and could fabricate lug attatchments but that's a lot of work (including tire removal, etc.)
