L-260 KUBOTA

I have a L-260 kubota. It has 4 different pto speeds.587,755,1067,1372. Are these pto speeds rated @2600 engine R.P.M's? What I'm trying to figure out is, can I set the pto speed in high range,(1372) throttle the motor back and still have enough power to run a generator that needs to turn at 540 rpm's? The generator requires 24pto H.P.
