Some Farmers in Germany use the Unimog. Problem here is, that You must have a Truck license to drive it with a 2axle Trailer. I believe that Repair is very complicated, cause of it has too much Elements that can break, much Gears, lot of Hydraulics. But here most Towns and Villages have one for Road Maintenance or Landscaping. Forestral Contractors use it also very often. It was the first german Tractor that has a Heating and a good Cab. The Bundeswehr uses it as a Troop Transporter, it can follow the Leopard Tank everywhere. Also Fire Brigades as Tanker Unit. At Cold-War You see the Unimog-S, called "Nato-Unimog" and the LF 8 of the ZS. They had a Petrolengine and a lot of thirst. Carradine-Net shows the agricultural Version of the Unimog, 84HP I believe. In last Time You find a lot of People here, which are collecting Unimogs. Tey are very expensive and we say that an Unimog won't go to the Junkyard, there is someone, who can use a part of it. here is a link: www.technikboerse.de look for Unimog, I'm sure You'll have some Luck to find one.
