Yes 801 is a model number. I think the second digit specified different configurations with 0 the base My dad had an 801 Powermaster 4cyl gas, 3point hitch, no hyd, PTO was driven by the trans, power steering, hi-lo trans. I believe you could add spool valves on top of the trans where the 3 point tapped into.
