Live pto is the ability to run sperate from the clutch. The 860 has a two stage clutch that you can disengage the tractor with the pto continuing to run. Independent pto would run totally sperate from the clutch, may have its own clutch or hyds. The 8Ns pto is dependent on the clutch when you let the clutch out and start your movement or in nuetral then your pto works. The ORC on the back would not be nescessary with live or ind pto so I would guess it is a model 841 or 851. The hi/lo would be a shifter on the left or right trans case not to be confused with the pto or hyd shifters like the 8N or a dash pull knob.
