ive used electric fence wire too many times to fix things... like holding the wheel on the little cart for the mower. in place of cotter pins in too many things. a metal rod through the glovebox on my truck to hold it on still works and looks factory. duct tape around threads on the coolant drain plug on my JD B when i stripped the plug worked really well until july when i was diskingthen spilled all the water out... nver stopped a tractor that fast before, im really glad my truck has 4 wheel drive. used about 6 washers on the air cleaner on my truck when i bought a chrome edelbrock 10" with the crapppy 1.5" filter. to get the thing to seal... got a taller element soon after. used nails in place of cotter pins on my disc. used coat hanger to hold one of the glass packs on my truck up. got a peice of leather belt in place of the door handle on my truck when the factory one busted... I actually like the leather one better. got sheet metal scres holding the lower dash and fuse box cover on... Ill think of some more tomorrow.
