Folks around here (Central Va.) go neqr field edges, power line right of way. etc. plow and disk
broadcast seed and fertilizer cover with disk.
You can get seed mixtures from some farm supply stores and seed stores. The size is anywhere from a few square feet to a quarter acre. The price is done by the job mostly.
