I don't think my other responses posted, so I will repost here. Nopt sur eif he governed the engine, it did not seem to over speed when it was started, but not sure how far he was advancing the throttle. Someone told me the pto might not be affected by engine speed because it was ,more or less, governed by gears. Don't know about that. i did see in another forum where ppl had put big engines in their 8n's. On eguy put a Mustang engine in his. I assume he is talking about a Mustang car.

BY the way, from the pictures I have seen, it looks like a Fordson Major Diesel.
